Jana Duggar: 19 Kids and Counting Fans Angry About Eldest Daughter's Mistreatment

Last week, we reported on the possibility of Jana Duggar breaking free from her famous family. Now it seems we're not the only ones who have noticed that the eldest Duggar daughter might be much better off on her own.

A recent episode of 19 Kids and Counting showed the family prepping for the wedding of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. More specifically, it showed Jana working feverishly to perfect every detail in time for her sister's nuptials.

Jana was made to hem all nine bridesmaids and flower girl dresses, and in a rare moment of self interest, she complained about being stuck with the task even though several of her sisters are also proficient at sewing.

While Jana was put to work, the rest of the family enjoyed pre-wedding festivities such as an afternoon tea party.

To make matters worse, TLC cameras closed on Jana's face when she was asked about the possibility of getting married herself.

Looking as though she was choking back tears, Jana gloomily replied, "I'm okay with just waiting for now."

On Duggar-related comment boards across the Internet, fans likened Jana's obvious suffering to the story of Cinderella. The perception is that she's being exploited by her family and is simply too kind to say no.

Some have even gone so far as to suggest that Jim Bob hasn't been actively seeking a spouse for Jana as he did for Jill and Jessa, because the family relies too heavily on Jana's help around the house.
