Ariana Grande has become a huge diva, according to the Internet.
Not according to "Bang Bang" collaborator Jessie J, however.
According to J-squared, the rising star isn't full of herself in the slightest. Rather, Grande just knows "what she wants," Jessie opines, and goes after it.
"I always say, judge a person when you meet them," she says.
"I’ve met Ariana, and there’s a very thin line between 'diva' and 'survival mode.' And a lot of people can’t [differentiate that] ... and I’ve had that," she said.
"I've had the diva stuff. And it’s when people can’t cope with how passionate you are, and how much you care," the "Price Tag" singer went on to explain.
So basically, to hear Jessie J tell it, Ariana is out there hustling and winning, and people just can't accept it because she's not always meek and submissive.
We can sort of see it as a possibility, but do you believe it?
"She's super talented, she's very young, and she's very sure of what she wants," Jessie J added of Grande. "I think she’s wonderful. She’s great."
Many of the rumors, such as Ariana wishing death on her fans or calling off photo shoots if people try to get a shot of the wrong side of her face, are probably bogus.
Still, the unflattering stories are a dime a dozen these days.
You can't go a week without some new account of Grande acting like a monster, traveling with a team of 21 handlers or making everyone's lives a living hell.
Everywhere you turn, it's like she's just beasting on fools.
Makes you wonder what's real, and what's as fake as those Ariana Grande nude photos that are just gonna keep being created as long as the Internet exists.
Either way, she's showing no signs of slowing down as she ascends to the pantheon of pop superstardom, and the photos below are totally the real deal:
