Bethenny Frankel on Wearing Toddler Pajamas on Instagram: What's the Big Deal?!
Bethenny Frankel hilariously but deservedly got in trouble with the court last week for wearing her daughter's pajamas in a photo she put on Instagram.
She has yet to see the error of her ways, however.
After a judge told Bethenny Frankel not to wear Bryn's jammies in future social media posts, you'd think that she'd take a long, hard look at herself.
Obviously, her intent was not negative in doing so.
Obviously, she cares a lot about her daughter.
Nevertheless, when you've been through an ugly divorce and custody battle your four-year-old will read about someday, and a judge tells you this?
You, being a grown adult woman wearing toddler clothes, and sharing it online as a high-profile person? The judge is admonishing you for a reason, B.
Not as she sees it, though.
Bethenny tells Meredith Vieira, definantly, "The truth of the matter is I don't really care what people think if I don't think I've done anything wrong."
"It was a dress of my daughter's, and she's like, 'Put this on,' and one of my friends was like, ‘Your Instagram game is weak.' So I just took a picture and thought it was cute."
"I had no idea that I would get that backlash," adds Bethenny, who is returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for Season 7 on Bravo.
"I had no idea, and I really didn't think it was that big of a deal. I didn't think people were going to start being anorexic because I put my daughter's clothes on."
"I just thought it was a ridiculous joke. I peed in a champagne bucket at my own wedding. The bar is very low, so why is that such a big deal?"
We're not sure what's weirder here:
- That she thought this was funny in any situation.
- That she thought she wouldn't get any flak for it.
- That she brags about the fact that she once peed in a champagne bucket at her wedding as if it were a defense of future behavior.
