Gayle King

Gayle King: I'm Gay!

No one is completely sure, but it sounds like Gayle King may have just come out on CBS This Morning.
While joking about being in a relationship with co-host Charlie Rose, King seemingly blurted out, "I'm gay!"
A veteran television personality, King is probably best known as the longtime best friend of Oprah Winfrey.
Rumors that Gayle and Oprah are lovers have been circulating for years, with both women denying that they're anything more than just close friends.
King was married to William Bumpus for ten years and has two children. She and Bumpus divorced in 1993.
For her part, Oprah has addressed rumors that she's gay several times in the past, most notably in a 2010 memoir in which she expressly stated that she and King have never been involved in any sort of romantic relationship.
The talk show queen has been in a relationship with Stedman Graham since 1986.
King's possible coming out happened just hours ago, and she has yet to address it publicly.
We imagine at some point today, King will tweet a clarification and either confirm or deny reports that she came out on live TV in the most casual fashion imaginable.

Ellen Page
Ellen Page made a major announcement in early 2014: She's gay. We applaud her for it.
