Revenge Season 4 Episode 2 Recap: Not So Good Charlotte
I wish you would step back from that ledge my… estranged cokehead half-sister who wants me dead.
Ah, the life of Emily Thorne.
It didn't exactly get any easier on Revenge Season 4 Episode 2, as Charlotte threatened suicide. Fortunately, she was saved by Jack’s new cop friend, Ben, though that doesn’t mean she’s totally back together now.
Not even the truth set her free. Yup, Emily finally came clean about their mutual father, but Charlotte wasn't buying her half-sister's explanation for why it took so long for this fact to be revealed.
In fact, Charlotte was so angry at Emily that she lured her to the Stowaway, knocked her out and then set the place on fire!
ELSEWHERE, Victoria tried to tell David that he’s “always” been the “love” of her life, but he wasn’t buying it, throwing Victoria inside her cell.
On a later trip to the diner, David said he killed Conrad for Victoria, who responded by turning father against daughter, telling her very old flame about their future and Emily:
“I cannot entertain a future with you until she’s been stopped."
Also, as payback for Gideon’s dead-lady shenanigans, Daniel sabotaged one of his key (shirtless?) business meetings - because nothing says “don’t work with me” like a surprise baggy of cocaine, right?
From there, Gideon’s week went from bad to a whole lot worse when he threatened to murder Margaux and Daniel… and then found himself in jail for having more drugs in his bag at the airport.
What did everyone else think of this busy installment? Were you surprised Emily opened up to Charlotte? Were you taken aback by her fiery reaction? Do you care at all about this Daniel storyline?
Or are you just waiting and waiting until the inevitable Emily and David reunion?
