Weatherman Invites Dog on Set, Immediately Regrets It

Mike Sobel is the weatherman for the Global Edmonton Morning News.
And he came up with what seemed like a perfectly innocent and adorable idea for a live television segment last week:
Why not relay the impending weather to viewers while hanging out on set with Ripple, a brindle mastiff mix.
But Sobel quickly learned why this wasn't exactly the best idea: Ripple doesn't like to sit or stand still. He doeslike, however, to eat through his leash and jump up on the nearest human.
You've gotta love live television, don't you?
And at least Sobel can find solace in the fact that he isn't alone when it comes to on-air reporter snafus.
Remember the reporter who thought Samuel L. Jackson was Laurence Fishburne? Or the reporter who was robbed while reporting on a robbery?!?
Relive some of the most awkward moments in news history here:
Jim Cantore Knees College Kid on Camera
The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore, reporting live from the site of crazy weather as he always does, beats back a college kid's attempt to video bomb him.
