The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 4 Recap: All A-Loan
Before delving into The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 4, we can't help but wonder:
Has there ever been an off-screen character who has created they kind conflict of Mrs. Wolowitz that seems to on a weekly basis?
In this case, her relationship with her “bubala” became a pressing issue because the guys were missing Stuart's comic book shop.
The new establish they must visit in its place has "loud music and exposed brick," a lot like "a rave at the third little pig's house," right, Sheldon? And because Stuart didn't get much of an insurance pay-out, he was in danger of never re-opening.
So.. what if his friends put up the money Stuart needs?
There’s no doubt they’d get it all back, considering Sheldon's genius plan. It includes:
- Spreading rumors about genital warts.
- Buying a big bag for the Benjamin Franklins in which they will subsequently be rolling.
- The use of a van with which they can pick children up from parks, schools, toy stores and puppet shows.
- Possibly candy.
Penny is down with this plan, but she also breaks it to Leonard that she’s in a lot of credit card debt.
Bernadette is less enthusiastic after Howard comes up with an imaginary sob story about his dad taking him to the comic book store as a kid.
Sheldon also brings up the question with Amy, but mentions that anything she says that isn't wholly supportive will throw their entire relationship into question. But, hey, no pressure!
Remember that aforementioned Mrs. Wolowitz thing, though? This all becomes a moot point after she goes right ahead and re-opens the store with her own money.
Emily also returned this week, acting cold toward Penny. We later learn it’s due to her past with Raj. Wait… what?!? Oh, right. They kissed and were naked in bed together at one point.
Is that really a “hook-up?” Yes, according to Emily. Fortunately, Raj steps in and the two women talk it out. Sort of. They smile and make nice, but clearly still dislike one another. Think this could cause a problem down the road?
