Kate Middleton Cancels Travel Plans as Morning Sickness Reportedly Worsens

In case you somehow haven't heard, Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second baby, and just like with her first pregnancy, she's experiencing some major morning sickness.
Contemplative Kate Middleton
In fact, Kate's Hyperemesis Gravidarum - as the condition is known - has gotten so bad that it's starting to affect her ability to carry out her royal duties.
Even though it's still very early in the pregnancy, royal officials stated earlier this week that Kate was considering canceling travel plans as a a result of her worsening health issues.
Today, they confirmed that Kate has indeed been forced to cancel her scheduled trip to Malta, and that Prince William will go in her place.
Kate had planned to attend the commemoration of Malta's independence, following a personal invitation from the Queen. The event was to serve as Kate's first official solo overseas visit, so the decision to cancel would not have been made lightly.
Kate's severe morning sickness is reportedly so bad that she may be unable to travel for the duration of her pregnancy. Kate's mom, Carole Middleton, has moved in with the royal couple and is currently helping to care for Kate.
Will and Kate are reportedly planning to relocate to Anmer Halin rural Norfolk, so that she can nurse her illness away from the public eye.
