We've heard rumors about NeNe Leakes quitting The Real Housewives of Atlanta in the past, but for some reason, the quotable fan favorite has stubbornly stayed put.
Has she finally had enough of the show that made her a star, however?
It's somewhat baffling, because few - if any - Housewives have found the sort of popularity and success beyond Bravo that NeNe has enjoyed.
If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online or even read about it, you know the show is more stuffed with insane drama lately than ever before.
So much so, it's hard to imagine that NeNe still has room for it in her life.
And that may be why after seven seasons on the hit series, NeNe might finally be ready to hang up her heels, or so the current rumor goes ...
"Sometimes n life you just have to move on!" NeNe tweeted yesterday.
"4 growth, 4 sanity, 4 healing! It's a sacrifice! Pray about it!"
Granted, Ms. Leakes could have been talking about moving on from any number of things, but she's been openly considering leaving RHOA for some time now.
The timing couldn't be better for her to actually bail. To put it simply, more so than any of the other ladies, NeNe simply doesn't need the show anymore.
She heads a production company with a slew of reality shows set to debut in 2015, her self-named clothing line is still taking off, and she just landed a coveted Broadway role.
She'll play the evil stepmother in Cinderella on stage, and on the small screen, Leakes will also return to Gleeat lesat once in the Fox series' final season.
Like we said - that girl's got a lot on her plate and RHOA just gets more insane by the year. We don't think anyone would blame NeNe for jumping ship.
We'd miss her, but wouldn't blame her.
