Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 1 Recap: Scott Gets Kicked Out (Already)!
After months of hype, anticipation, promotion and celebrity gossip, the premiere of Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 1 is here at last.
We've been covering the happenings in the Hamptons and the subsequent developments thereof for months. Now it's time for a behind the scenes look.
Between Khloe Kardashian's whirlwind romance with French Montana and Scott Disick going utterly off the rails, we began with a pair of major subplots.
So what did we learn on Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 1, and what's to come next? Where to even begin with these people ...
It's apparent from the onset that only Kourtney Kardashian actually wants to take the Hamptons. Khloe just wants to take off with French Montana.
Scott? He just wants to take naps and/or shots. Dude is just not feeling it and Kourtney gets very upset at the way he parties all night and sleeps all day.
She wants to bond as a family of four and nest while she’s pregnant with their third child. Scott would rather let loose with his friends and Khloe.
All it all, it makes you wonder how they're even together.
If you watch Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons online, you'd be very surprised that these two are a couple. She clearly can't stand him whatsoever.
Rather than reaching out or trying to get to the root of his obvious issues, though, Kourt just keeps on criticizing her man and as a result, pushing him away.
Don't get us wrong, the guy has some problems he should probably seek help for and is no prize himself when it comes to compromise and communication.
The one-sided conversations where both of them talk at each other and no one listens are cringe-worthy, though, and it gets worse as the episode progresses.
To Kourtney's dismay, French Montana and Khloe Kardashian jet off to South Africa for a few days for the MTV performance he has planned here.
They have a blast and Khloe tries to call Kourtney afterward, but she is still ignoring her phone calls and is obviously mad that Khloe went to Africa.
She's a lot more angry at someone else, though.
Defying her and booking a club appearance in New York - which he defends as "work" or "part of his job" - Scott peaces out to go party with Tyga.
Scott Disick says going to the city to “blow off some steam” will actually be good for both of them. We'll see about that when he gets back to Southampton.
Khloe and French wake up in South Africa, have breakfast on the beach, take selfies, talk about life and go on a safari. These two are so in love.
Kourtney and Scott? Mmmyeah not so much.
Wasted at the club, Scott gets furious voicemails from Kourtney, who we also see call Kim Kardashian to rant about how friggin; sick of Scott she is.
Kim points out that Kourt has been threatening to leave Scott for seven years because of this same behavior pattern, and that desperate times call for ...
Her kicking Scott out of the house apparently.
A security guard refuses to open the gate for his car when he returns, and when he proceeds to walk up to the house, Kourtney has locked him out.
He says he is not going to stop doing club appearances, but Kourtney says if he wants to die then great, but he's not welcome unless he's sober.
Scott says he has “nothing to say” and leaves.
Well, that about says it all for this week.
