By the time she was 13, Amanda Bynes was starring in her own sketch comedy series on Nickelodeon.
Now, at the age of 28, she's hoping to find a gig slinging drinks at an LA watering hole.
TMZ reports that Amanda is desperate for cash these days, and she's told friends to put the word out that she wants a bartending job.
Bynes is homeless at the moment, and while she may not be sleeping on the streets, as some outlets have claimed, she admits that with the court-ordered hold on her finances, she doesn't have enough cash for an apartment or even a hotel room.
Fortunately, Bynes has a lot of friends in the area and she's been able to secure shelter. Even former reality starHeidi Montag has offered Bynes a place to stay.
But to her credit, Amanda is reportedly not content to depend on the kindness of semi-famous strangers.
She's fighting hard for access to her $5.7 million fortune and in the meantime, she means to earn some serious tips.
Of course, it's not just an apartment and new clothes that she's after.
Amanda wants plastic surgery. Badly. Her comments disparaging her own appearance suggest that she may be suffering from body dysmorphia or a similar condition.
Her parents are currently in charge of her finances, but they'll soon hand the reins over to a new conservator. Amanda's obsession with altering her appearance is one of the many reasons that those closest to her don't trust her with that kind of cash.
