Genius Dog Unlocks Window, Makes Daring Daytime Escape

Imagine it's a gorgeous sunny day.

You're owners have left you. You're home all alone. You can see sticks just waiting to be chewed and squirrels just waiting to be chased directly out the window.

So you consider your options and determine that the window is the best means of escape, although it's unclear just how you'll manage to do so after a couple of tries.

But you don't give up! You keep coming back and checking, playing around and prodding, until you successfully unlock that pesky apparatus and... you're free!

Such was the situation this dog found himself in, as his owners set up a secret camera to determine just how he kept escaping from their home. Watch and find out now:

Talk about persistence, huh? And, unlike another four-legged creature, this guy didn't even need the help of a cat to wrangle away. Well done, canine!

Fortunately, the dog was unharmed and eventually found by his masters.

Insiders say that Kylie was deeply affected by the news that Kris Jenner had filed for divorce from Bruce Jenner.

Reportedly, the blow wasn't softened by the fact that her parents had been separated for over a year, as Kylie was one of the few who held out hope that the Jenners would reconcile.

Now that that ship has seemingly sailed, Kylie is expressing her emotions through song, and those who have heard her in the studio say she's got serious pop star potential.

"The girl can really, really sing," says one course close to Kylie. "Not only can she sing, but she is also starting to write her own stuff and is a pretty god songwriter."

Kim Kardashian continued her vacation in Paris over the weekend.

And, fortunately for the former sex tape star, things went a lot better over the past couple days than they went for her over the previous couple days.

After Kardashian got attacked by some moron France - and then she and Kanye West got booed while sitting in the front row of a fashion event - the reality star decked both herself AND daughter North out in same Givenchy on Sunday.

When not cradling her infant, meanwhile, Kim was having her own butt cradled by her husband.

Proving that every once in awhile, Bravolebrities actually get along, Lisa Vanderpump is lending support to embattled fellow housewife Teresa Giudice.

If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online, you know that Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice are awaiting sentencing on fraud charges.

Not trial, sentencing. There have been guilty pleas to felony charges, and Joe also pleaded to an additional count of failure to file income taxes.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Lisa Vanderpump feels their pain for some reason, and says she couldn't help but reach out.

"I have called her because I can only imagine, it has to be a nightmare to be in the midst of that," she told E! News. "She's always been a lovely woman."

"I know that from first-hand experience."

Teresa and Joe are expected to be sentenced next month, and Teresa is convinced she will not do time. Vanderpump won't go there, but sums up her call thusly:

Those sounds you just heard were Madam Secretary Season 1 Episode 2 taking story straight from real life for its second installment of its opening season.

The installment, after all, was titled "Another Benghazi."

It opened on a family breakfast that gets interrupted by gunfire. We then see Jack Wellington (the American Ambassador in Yemen) look out the window and spot protestors gathering, waving signs and guns.

Cut to Elizabeth McCord, who worries the unrest will only worsen and who wants the Ambassador to return stateside, but he refuses to do so.

Elizabeth asks for for military support to protect the Ambassador, yet gets denied by the President. The same goes for her request to remove him from Yemen.

While Elizabeth is attempting to find a solution to avoid this becoming, yes, another Benghazi, another problem crops up for the Secretary of State: her oldest daughter gets arrested.

This is naturally front page news, as the media wonder why the public was unaware Stephanie "Stevie" McCord even existed until now.

Tensions among the McCords escalate when Stevie actually leaves college. After a lot of back and forth, Elizabeth and Henry agree this daughter can take a year off from school... if she finds a job, that is.

Elizabeth then decide to hire a private security firm to protect  Wellington, despite having written a scathing article comparing private security to Satan's army just a year prior.

From there, a team of 50 men arrive in Yemen and quiet the protestors with a major show of force as they order these folks to their knees.

Wellington speaks with Elizabeth (via video conference) to tell her that all is fine - but halfway through their conversation, we hear is a loud bang. The signal is lost. The embassy has been bombed. This is not good at all.

Afraid of the worst, McCord confers with the President and key members of his Cabinet, including the owner of the aforementioned private security firm. Fortunately, the private security team did its job and saved the Ambassador.

Finally able to relax at home after a crazy series of events, Elizabeth thinks about her former CIA colleague, George. When asked by Stevie how he was killed, Elizabeth hesitates briefly and then fudges the truth. She says it was just a car accident. 

We know differently, of course.

Ariana Grande performed for the first time on the Saturday Night Live season opener this weekend, and the rising pop star lived up to the considerable hype.

While the recent deluge of Ariana Grande diva rumors remains in dispute, what there's no argument about is that the young woman has serious talent.

Her looks don't hurt her popularity, either. Just saying.

The 21-year-old joined guest host Chris Pratt on SNL, and the up-and-coming princess of pop more than held her own with the prince of comedy.

Ariana started her first performance, of her hit single "Break Free," atop a piano, kicking off the song on a mellow note before picking up the pace.

Grande's stripped down intro to “Break Free” belied the excitement that was to come, as the singer soon jumped down and ramped up the up-tempo track.

Flanked by an entourage of male backup dancers, the petite beauty looked super sexy as she showed off her dance moves, which were not half bad.

Later in the show, Ariana sang “Love Me Harder," featuring The Weekend, which is featured in the song. The group joined her on stage, which was great.

Grande, who recently performed at the iHeartRadio music festival and the Stand Up To Cancer telethon, is out there hustling to make a name for herself.

We've seen a number of strong live efforts from her lately, namely the Ariana Grande National Anthem performance, but this ranks up there with the best.
