Kate Gosselin: Dating Jeff Prescott!
Kate Gosselin has finally started dating again. The Kate Plus 8 star has been in a relationship with Jeff Prescott for several months, according to E! News.
The new couple was spotted together in New York City in October, where she had been filmingCelebrity Apprentice, which kicks off this weekend on NBC.
So much for talk of her shacking up with Steve Neild.
The relatively new couple have obviously kept a low profile, refraining from venturing out in public to avoid the scrutiny and attention of celebrity gossip sites.
Cat's out of the bag now, though, it would appear.
So who is the man who broke through and quietly swept the beleaguered, maligned, polarizing mother of eight off her feet as 2014 drew to a close?
A 51-year-old divorced father of three whose estimated worth is $25-30 million, Prescott co-founded the company Dreamstime, a supplier of digital images.
He is also a philanthropist, serving as president of the Deaf Children’s Foundation and being involved with several other charities not named Kate Gosselin.
Beyond the constant rumors linking her to bodyguard Neild, the tabloid fixture has been more or less out of the dating game since she and Jon split in 2009.
She's been reluctant to let a new man in, she says.
A big reason for that, obviously, is her eight children.
"I don't think that I look for a future person as far as, 'Come in, help me raise my eight kids!'" Kate says of the role any new romantic partner would play.
"If someone is willing to do that, that could be the right person, but it's certainly not something I expect," the controversial star went on. "It's a shocking life."
"You can talk, talk, talk, and talk but to walk in my door and actually try that on and wear it, gosh, that's going to have to be a brave person. I don't know."
"Maybe I don't believe that person exists."
Asked if there were any suitors on the horizon early last year, she said no, and that Mr. Right "needs to be made of titanium. Steel doesn't cut it anymore."
No pressure whatsoever, Jeff Prescott.
Kate, 39, lives in Pennsylvania with her twins and sextuplets. In addition to Celebrity Apprentice, she and the brood will also be back on TV this winter.
