Renee Zellweger Defended By Ex-Boyfriend: She Looks Like Renee! Chill Out People!

Renee Zellweger's ex-boyfriend Rhett Baker is speaking out against online critics of her new appearance, saying she looks like Renee and still looks gorgeous.

She probably has had Botox, however ... or so Rhett believes.

"Yeah, she looks a little bit different, but in comparison to what?" Baker says in response to the Internet losing its mind at the fact that Renee Zellweger looks like this.

"I don't think it's that drastic, she looks like a 45-year-old healthy Renee Zellweger, she's not 35 anymore, she's had Botox probably," he adds, casually. 

At the same time, he doesn't think it's that big a change: "I don't look at that picture and say 'Who is that?' I look at that picture and I would say 'Oh that's Renee'."

"Obviously I've known her a long time, but nothing about that picture makes me go 'Oh my god, what has she done?' I think she looks like a beautiful 45-year-old woman."

"I think she looks younger than 45, 'cause she's always looked younger but I don't think she looks drastically younger and that some type of surgery has done that."

"I think it's people being hyper-critical."

While some might zero in on the fact that he mused about her Botox treatments, what he said after that is actually supportive and a very valid statemen.

Even if they do not mean it in a harsh way, people definitely are being hyper-critical by giving it this much attention. In that respect we are all guilty as charged.

Renee Zellweger in 2004 and 2014. Yes, that is actually the same person.

Even Heidi Montag empathizes with her, and for good reason. Whatever led to her change in appearance, all we can do is hope that Renee is happy with it.

Zellweger does look dramatically unlike she used to, but she's also older and has been out of the public eye for years, as Baker's comments subtly remind us.

Also, she did look a little more like the Renee of old in a subsequent appearance after the red carpet event that sent the web into a collective freakout.

• Sarah will follow up on the information from her past by breaking into Tripp's office... and finding Matt there for reasons of his own.
• Caroline, Matt and Stefan will come together in order to free Enzo before he can reveal their true identities to Tripp.

Jessica Biel has been the center of pregnancy rumors already, but it looks like they have just been confirmed, with the star congratulated on her "impending motherhood."

Biel's pal and InStyle editor Ariel Foxman posted a #TBT pic of the actress with the telling caption "Congrats @jessicabiel on your impending motherhood."

"Looking forward to the red carpet maternity style pix to come #tbt."

"Impending motherhood" and "Red carpet maternity style" don't leave room for much ambiguity, unless she's just reading Jessica Biel pregnant rumors on THG.

If so, we suggest calling the star before posting online next time.

It's The Hollywood Gossip, after all, not The Hollywood Jessica Biel Fact File. Although it looks very much likeshe and Justin Timberlake are expecting.

Another recent report indicated that Biel is three months along and due in April, after she was seen wearing some loose-fitting clothing during a recent hike.

Meanwhile, Timberlake shared his first ever Instagram photo with Biel, showing them sitting on a bench on a cliff overlooking the ocean in New Zealand.

He captioned the pic with one of the best Ferris Bueller's Day Off quotes: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

Kate Middleton made her first public appearance in over two months today. The Duchess helped welcome the president of Singapore to Buckingham Palace.

Her recent appearance at an event to honor the President of Singapore was taken by many royal watchers as a sign that Kate's health is on the upswing.

Now it seems, however, that Kate may have simply caved in to pressure from the Queen to cease her bellyaching and get back to work.

Life & Style reports this week that Queen Elizabeth II "bullied" Kate into resuming her royal duties:

"The Queen has been unimpressed at the amount of official business Kate has missed out on," a source tells the tabloid. "She feels enough is enough, duty comes first, and it was time for Kate to step up to the plate."

We're assuming that last part is paraphrased and the Queen of England doesn't actually speak in baseball metaphors.

Of course, this isn't the first time Kate has clashed with the Queen, but insiders say tensions been higher than ever recently.

Apparently, part of the problem is that at 88 years old, the Queen still attends hundreds of official functions every year, and she's never suffered health problems of the type that have taken Kate out of commission:

"Elizabeth's pregnancies were easy compared to Kate's so she doesn't understand how badly Kate's been feeling," the source says. "She will always put work first and believes Kate should do the same."

As for the hopes that Kate is on the mend? "She has been feeling absolutely horrific," says the insider, adding that Prince William has been begging Kate to get more bed rest.

Kate, 39, posed for several photographs at the yard sale, but mostly with people browsing the wares outside St. John's Church of Christ in Wernersville, Pa.

She and her kids were selling some of their old things, to benefit the local animal rescue league. "She was on camera, so she was 'on,'" the observer says.

The onlooker adds, "She's very animated with her facial expressions ... she's not a stoic person." Just the same, "she runs that house like a military base."

"She's very organized. She just doesn't crack."

"Yeah, [it's] husband-coached childbirth," added Jill, "so that he can know how to help me in labor and in pregnancy ... and that's what I want the most."

The Arkansas natives grew up within 45 minutes of each other, but didn't meet until late 2011. Jill recalled when Derick stopped by while caroling with a church group, and not long after, "Derick contacted my dad and asked if he would be a prayer partner during his two-year term in Nepal."

Jill said they will "have a midwife at home" when she's ready, "and Derick will be my coach, as I like to say, so [he'll be] helping me through the process."

As a trained midwife herself, she should be well prepared.

"Hopefully, I could break down people's walls that have been built up around sexuality. I'm obviously not too embarrassed to talk about these things, especially with young people."
