Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 11 Recap: Is Jax Taylor Gay?!
On Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 11, the bachelorette craziness in Miami continued, and a bombshell rumor about Jax Taylor came to the surface.
What was that, exactly!? What else went down for our favorite members of the SUR / Pump / West Hollywood crew during their weekend in South Beach?
Picking up where last weekend left off, Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 11 also saw Tom Sandoval try to make peace with crazy ex Kristen Doute.
If you watch watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know those two have a tumultuous past, so between that and Jax's "history," there's a lot going on.
Tom's bid to extend an olive branch didn't exactly go over as planned, as it only seemed to bolster Kristen's hate for his current girlfriend, Ariana Madix.
Her dislike of Ariana was already casting a pall over Scheana‘s bachelorette party, so Tom decided to pull Kristen aside and talk things out with her.
Surprisingly (or not), this led to a sobbing session and his admission that he was actually happy (mostly) during the six years (!) they were together.
“There was a time that I loved Kristen, and you know, there is a little part of that that stays with you,” Tom confessed, and Kristen took this as a sign.
She KNOWS he still wants her now, and is making it her mission to get rid of Ariana once and for all to get him back. Which begs two obvious questions:
- Wasn't Kristen sort of trying to ostracize Ariana already?
- Isn't she also in a relationship with James Kennedy?
Discussions for another time. There's the matter of Jax, who used to go by his birth name Jason ... and used to hook up with a guy while living in Miami.
Allegedly. This all happened before he moved to L.A. and started working at SUR, but a run-in with an old friend in Miami brought it back to the surface.
John, who was friends with Jax and Tom Sandoval, used to represent models, and the futureVanderpump Rules co-stars were among his clients.
Jax ... had a different relationship with John than Tom did.
Apparently, Jax lived with John, shared a room with John, and used to drive John's car, but then had a "falling out" with John and moved to L.A. and changed his name.
Sounds like more of a "breakup" than a falling out, no?
It's unclear why the two "ended things," and Jax never fully admitted to having an affair, but John was heard saying something about being “over” him.
Both of them also told each other “I love you" at one point.
We didn't hear him say it, but Scheana Marie said that Jax Taylor admitted making out with John a few times, but he said he was “probably drunk.”
Given that this is Jax here, that's more like a given.
So did Jax really have a gay fling? Is he sexually confused, or just hiding his true orientation? On the record, Andy Cohen thinks he's in the closet.
Last night certainly doesn't hurt that argument.
Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder needed something to do this week, so she had a glass of wine with Lisa Vanderpump and told her she’s SO upset with Katie.
For hanging out with her "enemies," obvi.
Lisa made the spot-on observation, upon hearing that Stassi sort of hates everyone, and tells her she seems to be looking for followers, not friends. Ya think?!

Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Which TWO Stars Got the Boot Now?
Monday evening's episode of Celebrity Apprentice saw two more contestants get the heave ho from Donald Trump as the NBC reality show slogged on.
Who's out, and who's still in to fight for another 15 minutes?
In the first challenge, Team Infinity had to nominate someone to pose in a photo shoot, but Kenya Moore freaked out, leading to the team's demise.
In the boardroom, Brandi Glanville and Vivica A. Fox were both ready to throw Kate Gosselin to the wolves, while Moore had Glanville in her crosshairs.
The clash of reality TV titans didn't truly materialize, however, as the Donald kept all of the above and nixed project manager Jamie Anderson instead.
Despite (or perhaps because of) the fact that she seemed way above this nonsense and way too nice to be on the show, Jamie is no longer on it.
The second hour saw the teams open a pop-up wedding dress boutique, but not before trading Vivica A. Fox, Kate Gosselin and Shawn Johnson.
Trump transferred that trio to Team Vortex, while in return, Johnny Damon, Ian Ziering and Terrell Owens were made to move over to Team Infinity.
Brandi Glanville quickly made note of Owens, the former football star, and his lack of motivation. Granted, Brandi had a panic attack this week, but whatever.
Glanville ended up doing just fine at the task at hand, while Owens didn't produce like we were used to seeing on the NFL field for so many seasons.
He got the boot from Trump, joining Kevin Jonas Keshia Knight Pulliam and the fired like and leaving Brandi, Kenya and Kate to duke it out some more.

Usher: Engaged to Grace Miguel!
Usher is engaged to his longtime girlfriend and business partner, Grace Miguel! The two have been together since 2009, and decided to make it official.
“She's happy but they're trying to keep it quiet,” an insider says private couple.
The couple were spotted at the Golden Globes Art of Elysium Heaven Gala in L.A. on Saturday, with Miguel’s ring finger adorned with a giant diamond.
Usher’s fiancee's ring is SO massive, the New York Post's Page Six opines, “you wouldn’t think it was an engagement ring because it’s so big.”
So we're guessing he didn't skimp on the bling in other words.
The very private pair, who were also spotted ringing in the New Year together at E11even nightclub in Miami, appear to be quite smitten with each other.
"I have an incredible partner and manager," he told Billboard in October. "She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career."
"She’s someone who’s able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a performer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person."
It will be the second marriage for the R&B superstar, who is the father of sons Naviyd Ely and Usher Raymond V by his first wife, Tameka Foster.
They were married, to the dismay of his fans, from 2007-09.

Amal Alamuddin: Bored at the Golden Globes?
As expected, the 2015 Golden Globes made for a star-studded event with Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars boozing it up in their finest threads.
However, it seems at least one attendee was totally unimpressed.
George Clooney won a lifetime achievement award last night, but several viewers noted that his wife Amal Alamuddin seemed epically bored throughout the festivities.
"Amal is barely tolerating her husband's stupid office party," observed one tweeter.
"Amal couldn't be more bored as the industry honors her husband," wrote another.
It's a bit surprising, as despite the fact that she's never worked in the industry, Amal's name was mentioned several times over the course of the night.
Clooney gave her the obligatory shout-out during his acceptance speech, but perhaps more memorably, Tina Fey basically rattled off the highlights of Amal's resume during her opening monologue:
"George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin this year," Fey said. "Amal is a human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, was an advisor to Kofi Annan regarding Syria, and was selected for a three-person UN commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza Strip. So, tonight her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award."
Fey's comments were made in jest, but the fact that Amal and George come from very different worlds has been a sort of elephant in the room during discussions about their marriage.
Will she eventually get tired with the glitz and glamour of Hollywood? Will he get frustrated by the lifestyle constraints that accompany being married to someone with a real job?
Only time will time will tell, but whatever happens, at least they'll continue to look good together:

No, we're not talking about the rumor that DiCaprio is banging Taylor Swift (although that's definitely random). We're talking about Leo's ninja-like photobomb skills:
Yes, that's DiCap, 50 Cent, and Naomi Campbell. Not everyone would have the balls to sneak up on a guy who's been shot nine times, but this is the Wolf of Gatsby Street we're talking about.
"I get photobombed by the hottest people in the world," Fiddy captioned the pic. Then he popped off a bunch of hashtags promoting headphones and a TV show, because let's face it - homey hasn't been relevant to the rap game in a long, long time.

Anyway, Leo and Mr. Cent have become unlikely bros in recent weeks, but it's entirely possible that this epic bomb has nothing to do with their friendship.
We're pretty sure when a model enters a room, Leo just instinctively gravitates toward them. It's like opening a can of food in front of a dog.

Jenelle Evans Wedding: Coming to MTV?!
It's official: Jenelle Evans is engaged to Nathan Griffith.
That means we're in store for one of the white-trashiest weddings since Kid Rock married Pamela Anderson. Better yet? The whole thing might be filmed for MTV!
"Jenelle and MTV have a super close relationship," a source tells Radar Online. "Her wedding could be a huge ratings hit for the network."
"Her chaotic life has always been on MTV, so there's no reason now that she's getting married again for it to not be on MTV. But she's getting smarter and she knows how to negotiate better so she wants MTV to pay for the wedding."
You may recall that Jenelle was married to Courtland Rogers for a brief period starting in 2012. (We're not even sure if Jenelle remembers.)
That marriage couldn't have gone much worse, and the wedding was a low-key, quickie, un-televised affair. Insiders say Jenelle wants everything to go differently her second time around, starting with the ceremony:
"Jenelle is really happy with Nathan, and MTV knows her wedding will be all about the drama," says the source. "They want to make sure they capture that. They're not sure if it would just be a spin-off, or part of another season of Teen Mom 2."
Either way, Jenelle plans to get paid. She's reportedly stated that she'll only commit to allowing the network to air her nuptials if MTV "makes the offer sweet enough for her to put it all on TV."

21 Celebrities Who Served Time in Prison: You're Not Alone, Teresa Giudice!
As you've likely heard by now, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice reported to prison this week to begin serving a 15 month sentence on fraud charges.
Teresa may be feeling awfully alone these days, but she's far from the first celeb to get hauled off to the big house. Heck, she's not even the first Bravo reality star to get locked up in the past year!
Housewives of Atlanta D-bag Apollo Nida is doing 8 years (!) for bank fraud and identity theft, and the whole thing is making us wonder if Bravo boss Andy Cohen is secretly some sort of crime ring kingpin.
We kid. But seriously, getting tossed in the slammer is a proud Hollywood tradition, and you may be surprised by some of the A-listers who have done hard time.
And we're not talking Lohan-style "45 minutes in jail to scare you straight" time here, either. We're talking about celebs who spent so much time behind bars that they earned colorful prison nicknames and learned to perfect toilet hooch.
Some of the entries on this list may surprise you. (Lauryn Hill served three months in a federal joint?!) While others are old hat. (Oh, OJ - will you never learn?)
In any event, these celebs come from different backgrounds and were at very different stages in their careers when they got locked up.
It serves as a distressing reminder that anyone, at any time can make a mistake that will land them behind bars. Fortunately, it also serves as evidence that sometimes even wealth and fame can't stand in the way of justice being served. Take note, Bill Cosby!

Miley Cyrus Channels Elvis Presley: See the Photo!
Miley Cyrus paid tribute to a musical legend last night.
The artist posted a photo on Instagram of herself in an all-white ensemble as she hosted of the opening of W magazine's Shooting Stars exhibit.
The outfit featured a VERY low cut cape-like top... an oversized gold buckle... and pants with flare at the bottom.
"I was thinking this was very Elvis Presley," Cyrus told E! News. "I thought it felt right because it was just his 80th birthday."
Miley attended the event with Patrick Schwarzenegger, referring to him as her “boyfriend” when speaking to reporters.
She's also been rather busy on Instagram this week, though not always by channeling rock 'n roll icons.
A couple days prior to publishing this image, Cyrus showed off "Fatttttesssst F—king Blunt" of all-time, lighting up for her followers and causing many to wonder if that was really the best move for a star with so many young fans.
